    Bless Your Heart

Being back in Arkansas has brought out many things in me, including my long-repressed southern-isms. Big hair, SEC sports, fried foods, and sweltering summers are back in my life, for better or worse. When ELOQUII reached out to send me pieces from their Draper James collaboration, I couldn’t resist the Bless Your Heart Tee. Although the gingham skirt has a coordinating top, adding the tee to my wardrobe was as easy as the phrase rolls off my tongue.

The striped tee is thicker than a typical t-shirt and has more stretch, which I think contributes to the fit being smaller than I’m used to from ELOQUII. In contrast, the gingham skirt fits just like my other size 28 styles and discovering pockets was a welcome surprise. I’ll save the tee for cooler weather, but I can’t wait to mix the skirt with contrasting prints & solid, lightweight tees all summer.

I’d love to add the matching gingham top to match with the skirt and mix with denim (I’ve got my heart set on the perfect denim skirt). The other pieces in the collection is a perfect blend of Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James & ELOQUII’s signature style with punchy colors, classic prints, and a dash of sass.

If you picked up anything from the collaboration, please tell me about it in the comments below!
